Service Termination Protocol and Operational Effects
ManufacturingBridge.com guarantees users the right to manage the duration of their subscription autonomously. Service cancellation is a definitive action that impacts the visibility and validation status of the entity within the industrial ecosystem.
Cancellation Procedure
The account holder or authorized administrator may initiate service cancellation at any time through the following technical workflow:
- Location: Account Settings Panel > “Membership & Billing” Section.
- Action: Click the “Cancel Membership” button.
- Confirmation: The system will issue an automatic email notification containing the cancellation tracking number and the effective termination date.
Effects of Cancellation by User Role
For Supplier Companies (Registered / Verified / Audited):
- Revocation of Badges: Cancellation results in the immediate removal of Trust Seals (Verified or Audited) from the public profile.
- Profile Downgrade: The company profile will automatically revert to “Basic Registration” status, losing priority in search results and visibility of advanced technical capabilities.
- Audit Suspension: Any ongoing document review or annual audit process will be halted. The process will not be reactivated without the purchase of a new membership cycle.
- Operational History: ManufacturingBridge.com will retain historical records and documentary evidence in accordance with the legal retention periods established in the Privacy Notice, but these will not be visible to third parties.
For Buyer Companies / OEMs:
- Access Restriction: Immediate loss of access to Engineering Technical Data Sheets, Level 2 contact information, and downloading of supplier validation files.
- Sourcing Interruption: Suspension of the ability to post new requirements (RFQs) or manage direct communications through the platform.
Pro-rata and Refund Policy
- Paid Period Validity: Cancellation stops automatic renewal for the next cycle. The user will retain access to the contracted functionalities until the end of the already-paid annual period.
- No-Refund Clause: In compliance with the conditions accepted at checkout, ManufacturingBridge.com does not issue proportional refunds or pro-rata credits for unused periods following a user’s cancellation decision.
Service Reactivation
Should an entity wish to reinstate its benefits after cancellation:
- It must enter into a new subscription under the prices and terms in effect at the time of reactivation.
- For Verified and Audited levels, a new, complete document upload and validation process will be required to ensure the currency of the industrial information.
Suspension for Non-Compliance (Forced Cancellation)
ManufacturingBridge.com reserves the right to unilaterally cancel or suspend accounts, without refund, under the following circumstances:
- Detection of forged or altered documentation.
- Use of platform information for purposes other than industrial sourcing (data scraping, spam, or resale of information).
- Violation of compliance or commercial integrity clauses.
Note: Membership cancellation does not release the parties from legal responsibilities or commercial commitments previously entered into outside the platform. Any dispute arising from this process shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico.
